HOW DOES THE BUTTON ORDER PROCESS WORK?

1. Place your custom button order through our secure online shopping cart. You will receive a confirmation e-mail, as well as an order number. Be sure to add [email protected] to your address book.

2. Submit your artwork via e-mail to [email protected]

   Within 48 hours of placing your custom button order, you will receive a link to your custom button proofing page via e-mail. Approve the artwork or request changes to your button design using the online form. Be sure to check the button size, quantity and spelling for accuracy.

3. Your custom button order is sent into production. After the order ships, you will receive an e- mail with your tracking information. Depending on the shipping method you selected, please allow 1-6 business days transit time after the completion of your order.

   Most button orders ship within 5 business days of approved artwork. After your button order has been placed and artwork is approved, a shipping date will be confirmed. 24 - 48 - 72 hour services are available for a rush order fee. Please call for details.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Normal shipping method is via Federal Express Ground or UPS Ground, the selection is made by Buttonworks based on delivery schedules and cost effectiveness. Both carriers require a full street address for delivery. NOTE: UPS does not consider weekends and holidays as part of its delivery schedule. USPS Priority Mail/Signature Confirmation is offered to shipments weighing less than 5 pounds and for all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES

All button orders, once entered, are subject to a cancellation or change fee. The minimum cancellation or change fee is $50.00. The actual charges are based on the status of the button order in the production process when canceled or modified.

OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS

Every effort is made to ship exact quantities ordered. However, all button orders are subject to a 5% overrun or underrun and will be considered complete.

RETURN GOODS POLICY

Custom products are not available for return. It is the customers responsibility to proof their custom button design carefully. In the event a mistake is made by Buttonworks, Buttonworks must be notified within 72 hours of receipt of the buttons.

COMBINED QUANTITY PRICING

Combined quantity pricing is available. Please call for more information.

TRADEMARKS

All logos or copies received for use in producing products must be in compliance with all trademark, copyright, patent, or related laws or acts and are the responsibility of the customer. Customer assumes full responsibility for all claims and/or litigation arising from alleged infringement of licenses, patents or copyrights on any requested design or copy.

PREPARATION CHARGES

For buttons requiring a copy change the fee is $10.00. If the copy change is required after your button order has been sent into production, please contact us as soon as possible. Additional fees may be incurred.

ART CHARGES

All orders include 15 minutes of art time at no charge. Additional art preparation time is $60.00 per hour, charged in actual time. A guaranteed maximum charge will be quoted prior starting your button order.

PROOFS

Digital Proofs are always provided for custom button orders. A link to your custom button proof will be e-mailed to you for viewing through our website.

Printed Proofs can be mailed for $5.00.

Pre-Production Custom button samples are available upon request, fees vary, please call for more information.

Note: Custom button production does not begin until Proofs have been approved.

TERMS

Terms are limited to educational institutions that provide faxed purchase orders. Buttons are custom produced and must be paid for before production can begin.

Buttonworks accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY GUIDELINES

Buttons are not regarded as children's products, and may not be suitable for children under 4 years of age. Any pin-back button should be considered a sharp product.

Magnets, when used as a button attachment in place of a standard pin may interfere with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and pose potential hazards to patients. Buttonworks does not recommend the use of magnet attachments under these circumstances. Use caution or consult your physician if similar medical situations exist.
