Buttonworks Customer Service
Buttonworks has been providing customers with the same quality customer service since 1896. Our customer service team is always happy to answer any questions you may have about placing a button order, the status of your current order, or other general information about buttons.

Our office will be closed on the following days to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Please note that UPS also observes these holidays, and transit or delivery of packages may be limited or not available on these dates. Your Buttonworks Account
Your online account shows detailed information about your current and past orders, as well as status updates for your buttons. Simply login to view your account information. If you are a previous customer and shopped with us on our original website, we have transferred your account information for your convenience. To retrieve your tracking number, visit the My Account section of our site. Enter your e-mail address in the "Forgot Your Password?" portion of the page, and your temporary password will be e-mailed to you immediately.
On your account page, you will see current and previous orders listed under the "Track your recent orders" section. Each order displays the order date, order number, total cost, and current status. Please note that the total cost may not be correct if you made changes to your original order, such as increasing the quantity or upgrading the shipping method. You can also click on the (View Details) link next to the order number to see your order details.
What does my Order Status mean?
From the time you place your order until the day it ships, your order will be processed in several steps. We carefully monitor each order to ensure that we are able to meet the scheduled ship date, which is generally within 5 business days from the time you place your order & approve your digital proof. Please refer to the list below for details.
- New: Your order has been received, and is being reviewed and confirmed by our Customer Service Staff.
- Order Received: Your custom artwork and digital proof are being processed by our Art Department. The initial proofing process takes about 24 hours from the time you place your order.
- Pending Art Approval: Our Art Department has created your digital proof, and has forwarded you a link to your custom proofing page at buttonworks.com. We will need your approval on the design and order details to proceed with production.
- Art Approved: We have received your artwork approval form, and your order has been forwarded to the Printing Department.
- In Production: Your order has been printed, and is in production. This process may take several days, depending on the size of your order and the shape of your buttons.
- Contact Customer Service: If we have a question about your order, and are unable to reach you by phone or e-mail, we will update your order status accordingly. Please call us at 800-742-5354 for more information.
- Shipped: Your order has been packaged and received by the shipping company. Tracking information will be forwarded to the e-mail address you provided with your order.
Most orders ship within 5 business days of approved artwork. After your order has been placed and artwork is approved, a shipping date will be confirmed. Need your buttons sooner? 24 - 48 - 72 hour rush services are available for an additional fee. Please call 800-742-5354 for details and availability.
When will my order arrive?
Standard production time for most button orders is 5 business days, plus UPS transit time. Ground Shipping may take 1-6 business days, depending on your location. To view the UPS transit map, click here.
